BeN is designed to be operated by a single person, reducing the number of operators involved in moving the beds.

It does not require physical effort so it can be maneuvered regardless of the physical capacity of the operator.

Easy maneuverability
The coupling to the bed or stretcher is facilitated by a motorized mechanism, it also rotates on itself by 360 ° and moves parallel to the side, moving easily in confined spaces.
You can drive on either side of the bed
Equipped with a fixed and a movable Joystick, it is possible to maneuver the bed mover from both ends of the bed.

The strengths of the BeN BED MOVER

Easy and safe driving system

Double joystick control on fixed and mobile panel to position itself where necessary around the patient. It can be guided with one hand by a single operator and move a load of up to 600 kg.

Anti-collision safety system

BeN can move around the departments in the presence of other personnel, and any visitors in transit, without any safety risks thanks to the innovative “anti-collision system” which automatically avoids collision with fixed and moving obstacles. A prerogative of the BeN on the international scene.
When an obstacle is detected by the sensors, a red LED lights up and the vehicle stops automatically. When the obstacle is out of line, the LED turns green and the vehicle can move again.

Easy maneuverability

BeN moves easily even in confined spaces, rotates 360° on its axis, translates laterally and diagonally.
These capabilities allow the bed to be moved from the ward, through hospital corridors and elevators, to destination.

Motorized and versatile coupling system

BeN can be attached to the bed with its motorized mechanism that facilitates attachment and is compatible with most hospital beds.
It is also possible to move the stretchers using specific adapters.

How
BeN Bed Mover was born

BeN Bed Mover was born from the first Pre-Commercial Procurement-P.C.P. Italian, organized by the Lombardy Region, DG Innovation, in collaboration with ARCA, now ARIA, and the Great Niguarda Metropolitan Hospital of Milan.

The RTI, consisting of Info Solution, Politecnico of Milano and the University of Milan Bicocca, won the P.C.P. and developed the Bed Mover project.

Info Solution subsequently industrialized and commercialized the product.

Innovation is protected by an Italian patent, Patented, and by a patent international pending outcome, Pending.
